Carolyn Hunter Richter welcomes you to her bed and breakfast in the small Vermont town of Hardwick. Carolyn's Bed and Breakfast is located 20 miles northeast of Stowe, and 5 miles from Caspian Lake. The bed and breakfast is within 5 miles of three cross-country ski centers. Walk to free tennis courts. Bike touring country.
The cottage Victorian has original cherry woodwork, hardwood floors, cypress staircase, and oak wall-to-wall bookcase. Many of the antiques acquired at area auctions came complete with a "story." Carolyn, an elementary school counselor, is a mountain biker, skier, motorcycle rider, and children's therapist who enjoys cooking and baking. Baking bread, pies and making homemade strawberry jam are recreational activities for her. Guests from several continents have enjoyed the hospitality since this B&B opened in 1986. Since then, people from all over the United States and Canada, as well as guests from Australia, Japan, South Africa - and even an Egyptian princess - have experienced the gracious hospitality of this inn.
